The Alien General's Wedding Page 3

Kage puffs out his chest. “Just a race? I’ll win easily.”

“There is one caveat,” Nora says. “The men have to carry the women!”

My heart skips a beat. And then another.

  C-carry? Me?

All the other couples chuckle and shake their heads as the women climb onto their men’s shoulders. Easy for them to do; they are all dating their guys!

I turn towards Kage, my heart racing, my eyes filled with fear. If Nora had told me, I would have made sure I wore pants today. As it stands, I’m only wearing a flimsy sundress.

He looks back at me and his teal eyes are filled with determination.

“Hold on,” I say, “I have to cha—aaahh!”

Without saying a word Kage grabs me and flings me up into the air. I scream and land on his shoulders, my naked inner-thighs pressing against his warm ears. His strong, firm hands grab hold of my hips, his fingers sinking into my soft skin.

“Don’t ever to do that again!” I say.

“I don’t make the rules,” he answers.

My heart is pounding like mad — and not just because I’m afraid of heights. It’s because there’s very little separating us right now.

I barely get a moment to adjust before Nora screams “Go!” and Torin takes off with her.

  “Damn,” Kage growls.

He sets off, taking long strides. I’m not good at heights, and sitting on a Zoran’s shoulders is high enough to make me queasy. We pass some of the other couples — I can see what Nora meant when she said he was powerful. He’s fast and strong, and already we’re gaining on Torin.

However, the race is not a simple straight line. There are obstacles. Fences to jump, pools of mud to wade through.

It’s one of those fences that does me in. Kage jumps over it and I lose my balance and topple over backwards with a shrill shriek.

Kage whips around and catches me in mid-air before I touch the ground.

“You okay?” he asks, brushing the hair out of my face.

“Yes,” I stammer as his thumb grazes my cheek. “I’m fine, I’m just not very good at heights.”

“It’s my fault. I misjudged the jump.”

Now I feel bad. I can tell he wants to win, and here I am, holding him back just because I’m afraid of heights. None of the other women seem to care. They are all laughing and having a great time. Why is it so hard for me?

“I can carry you another way,” he says.

“Sure,” I say. “Do what you gotta do.”

  Famous last words.

He reaches down, grabs a firm hold of my two barely-clothed ass-cheeks and lifts me right up, my chest smashed against his. Instinctively I wrap my arms around his neck, my legs sliding around his waist.

This position… is almost like we’re fucking standing up.

My heart is racing, but before I can protest, he starts sprinting. All I can do is bury my head in his chest and wait it out.

We’re so close that I can feel his heartbeat. I can feel his hot breath against my neck and my ears. I can feel the tips of his fingers digging into my sensitive skin.

And that’s not all I feel.

There’s a… bulge. Growing with every passing second, pressed up right against my mound.

I swallow the lump in my throat. What the other women said must be true. Zorans are as big as they say.

Every step Kage takes I’m pressed up right against him, grinding that hard, throbbing bulge, my now-wet pussy rubbing all over him…

Why did I wear a dress?! Why didn’t Nora warn me?!

The only thing separating Kage and I are his armor and the very thin, and by now very damp, fabric of my panties. Every step sends waves of pleasure throughout my entire body as my clit grinds against his hard bulge.

I’m too afraid to look up. My eyes are shut tight, and I’m biting my bottom lip to stop from moaning. His warm, firm hands are resting right on my ass, and with every step they slide a little bit lower, and lower, and lower…

Any moment now he’s going to brush right against my wet lips. That thought both horrifies me as much as it makes me hot and bothered. He could slip a finger inside of me and I wouldn’t even protest. In fact, I’d probably come right here, on the spot…

“Close,” he growls into my ear. “So close!”

  Yes, I’m close too!

I glance up. His teal eyes are focused on the road, beads of sweat dripping down his forehead.

“Yes,” he grunts, his hips thrusting into me. “Yes! Yes!”

  Yes!

I claw at the armor on his back as I come right there on the spot, from the vibrations alone. My toes curl up, a soft moan leaves my lips, and my legs tremble and shake.

When I open my eyes I see that he’s looking down at me with an eyebrow raised.

Kiss me, you idiot. Kiss me. Show me what a Zoran is like.

  “Congratulations!”

Nora’s unexpected voice breaks my lust-induced spell and brings me back to the present. Right. We’re not alone in the world! There’s more people out here than just me and him!

Every time I look into his eyes, I tend to forget about those facts. I thought, no, I wished it was just the two of us. As far as I could tell, I was in paradise.

Kage lowers me down. My knees are still wobbling and I take a deep breath before I look up to greet my cousin.

  “You two won! Congrats!”

“Thank you,” I say. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to, uhm, be alone for a moment,” I stammer as I waddle off.

I need a cold shower. Or two.

  Chapter Seven

  The next morning

  Zoey

“What was that about?” Nora asks over breakfast.

I haven’t even sat down and already she’s given me the third degree! All the other girls look up at me, their conversations falling silent.

“Can we let yesterday stay where it belongs? In the past?”

I reach out for a boiled egg and start peeling it, my eyes focused on the shell. The table is absolutely stuffed with food, but suddenly, I’m not feeling all that hungry.

Nora shakes her head. “You didn’t even stay to collect your prize!”

Oh, I got a prize alright.

  “Sorry,” I mumble.

“So, you and Kage, are you…”

“Don’t be stupid,” I say, a bit louder than I wanted. That’s what she gets for trying to question me on an empty stomach. “No way.”

  “Why not?”

  “Because. He’s Zoran. I’m human.”

“If you haven’t noticed, I’m marrying a Zoran tomorrow,” Nora chuckles.

“Err,” I stammer. “I didn’t mean it like that!”

All the bridesmaids are glaring at me. Ah fudge. I hope they don’t think I’m speciest.

“I’m just saying, h-he’s from another planet, I have to go back to work, he has to go back to training… I don’t want to get my heart broken.”

And that’s not the only thing I’m afraid he’ll break. I felt how big he was…

“It’s okay, we know you didn’t mean it that way.” That’s Piper talking. “I think you should just go for it, though. If there’s something there, why resist?”

“Exactly,” Nora says. “You deserve to be loved, Zoey. You can’t keep running away every time something good is about to happen to you.”

“Oh my god, you’re not my mom,” I laugh. “Can’t a girl eat her breakfast in peace?”

“If I was your mom, I’d tell you to stop playing with your food and eat the damn egg,” Nora says. “And besides. When you reach my age, you gain certain… insights.”

“You’re like, two years older than me? If that?”

  “Twenty months, actually.”

“Exactly. So can we talk about something else than my love-life? Like, what is on the agenda for today?”

“Let me think about that. Nope!”

  “Nope?”

“It’s my wedding, I make the rules, and
today’s rule is we’re talking about Zoey’s love-life in public,” Nora teases me.

I sink deeper into my seat. I’m so embarrassed I could die.

“He’s a good guy, you know,” another girl pipes in. I think her name is Lilly. “A bit rough around the edges, but his heart is in the right place.”

“Egon says he shows a lot of promise.” Miah says. “Supposed to be one of the most talented young warriors out there!”

“See. You could do worse, is all I’m saying,” Nora adds with a wink.

That may be the first thing she’s said so far I agree with. I could do a lot worse than a hunky, growly, dominant alien warrior…

  Chapter Eight

  Kage

I slept poorly. All I could think about was the human female. She felt so good pressed against me. Her naked flesh in my hands, her chest pressed against mine… It was beyond wonderful.

I have never felt so alive before. I wish the race would have never ended. With her in my arms, I could run forever.

Her name is Zoey. A beautiful name that rolls of my tongue easily…

In my mind I keep replaying the end of the race. When I crossed the finish line, her entire body shuddered and trembled. There was lust in her eyes. It took every last ounce of my self-control to stop myself from kissing her right there and then. Zora knows I was as hard as a fucking rock.

However, she then ran away, not even giving me another look. Did I offend her? I don’t understand humans. I don’t understand myself anymore, and that bothers me.

  I’m a warrior. A damn good one.

  I’m strong. I’m fast.

The one thing I cannot defeat with my muscles is the female’s mind…

That’s a puzzle I need to crack in a different way.

I look in the mirror and adjust the black suit. Torin was right. The tailor did a fine job. I would have preferred armor to this human-dress-suit, but I have to admit, I look good. I’m more skilled at fighting than at dancing, but that is not for me to decide. Not yet.

Torin asked me to represent our clan, and that’s what I will do. Now, I will go downstairs to the ball-room and practice my post-union dance with the human female.

  The mating-ritual is tomorrow.

I’m happy to get back to my training, but a part of me also feels like I still have some unresolved feelings…

I push these thoughts away and make my way downstairs. I enter the ballroom, and that’s when I see Zoey.

My cold heart melts instantly. She’s wearing a yellow dress that fits her body perfectly. Every curve, every inch of her body screams perfection. I ball my hands into fists. I want nothing more than to reach up underneath her dress again and touch her naked skin, but I cannot.

  I must control myself.

She walks towards me, her eyes focused on the ground.

“Did I offend you?” I ask.

She glances up, surprise registering in her eyes.

“No,” she laughs, her cheeks tinted rosy. “No, you did not.”

Soft, pleasant music starts playing. All around us the Zoran/human couples start their dance, and I know we have to follow suit. I hold my hand open for her.

  “Would you like to dance?”

“Yes,” she says, her voice barely a whisper. “I would like that very much.”

I grab her body and pull her close. She lets out a small sigh and already I can feel my erection growing.

This time there is no armor to protect my modesty. If I get a fully-grown hard-on everyone will see it. I must control myself.

I place one hand on the small of her back, the other one holding her hand as we copy the movements of the couples around us.

“You’re quite good at this,” she whispers.

Her warm voice makes me tingle.

  “So are you,” I answer.

I spin her around and catch her back into my arms. For a moment we stare into each other’s eyes, and there’s a spark, a moment where I could have easily leaned in and kissed her, right there and then… but then the moments end and we continue our dance.

I don’t understand why this dancing worried me. It’s almost like a battle. You have to move carefully, quickly, gracefully. That’s what I’m good at. That’s what I do.

Zoey also has a good sense of rhythm, and soon I forget we’re here to practice. Instead, we simply dance. Our bodies move as one, as our hands explore each other — modestly, of course. I want nothing more than to grab her ass, but instead I let my hand slide up her back, all the way to her neck. As my fingertips graze her soft skin, she closes her eyes and lets out a wistful sigh.

I promised myself I wouldn’t get an erection, but seeing her tilt her head back and her lips part just a little, seeing those beautiful, kissable lips of hers hang open… that’s more than I can handle.

I can’t stop myself. My cock grows grows and grows, and it presses against the human female. Her eyes fly open, and I try to read her expression.

  Is she scared? Shocked?

I’m afraid she’ll storm off, but instead, a mischievous grin forms on her lips. Zoey continues to dance with me as if nothing has changed. The only difference is her cheeks are a little bit more flushed, and my mind is a little more crowded with wanton thoughts.

Any moment now. Any moment I’ll lean down and kiss her and we can end this charade….

Suddenly, I realize the music has stopped. I look up to see all the couples are staring at us.

  “You’re a natural!” Torin says.

This time, it is me who storms off. I have to leave before I do something I regret.

  I don’t get very far.

  “What’s gotten into you?”

My uncle grabs my shoulder and forces me to turn around and face him. I’m at the bottom of the stairs, and my heart is still racing.

“What do you mean?” I curse, struggling to slow down my breathing.

  “What happened back there?”

  “Nothing,” I growl.

Torin looks at me with… compassion. It’s enough to make my blood boil. I don’t want his fucking sympathy. I don’t like feeling like my attraction to the human female is written all over my damn face. I try my hardest to keep my composure, and what happens? All my elders can read me like a damn book.

“Sure,” Torin says. “Sure. Nothing happened. That’s why you stormed off, looking all hot and bothered.”

  My throat constricts with anger.

  “I am not h—”

“Forget I said that. All I want you to know, young one, is that the love of a human female can be a wonderful thing. If you let it into your heart, that is.”

I glare at him like a moody teenager who has yet to grow into his muscles. That’s what the human female does to me, that’s what I resent most.

I’m not in the mood for a sappy speech. I’m in the mood for slaying a Nezdek with my bare hands. I’m in the mood for unloading myself deep within Zoey’s womb. Preferable the latter, actually, but right now, I’d take anything that’ll take the pressure off.

“I’m trying to help you, Kage.”

  “I don’t need your help.”

I’m already painfully aware that I’m the youngest and least accomplished Zoran in attendance. I don’t need him to rub it in my face that he is mated an I am not. My own mind is good enough at that already.

Torin grabs my hand and places a key in it.

“This is for the bridal suite. Top floor. There’s a private sauna there. Go, fire it up, let the warmth sooth you, and you will find the answers you seek. Don’t try to force the thoughts from your mind — it won’t work. Trust me, I speak from experience.”

“I don’t need no human bath.”

“Just try it, Kage. For me.”

“Fine,” I growl. If it’ll shut him up, if he’ll let this embarrassing conversation come to a close, I will use this damn sauna — whatever it is.

  “You won’t regret it.”

I mutter a half-hearted thank you and depart, glad that shamef
ul conversation is over. To a warrior like me, my pride is the most important thing I have. The look all the other warriors gave me as I stormed off, the little speech my uncle just laid on me — I feel like sinking into the ground.

As I climb the stairs, I contemplate moving to one of the moons on Kriut V and spending the rest of my life in solitude like a monk. However, with every step I take, my anxiety dies down. Maybe this ‘sauna’ won’t be so bad. Maybe the other groomsmen won’t spread the word. Perhaps I’ll look back at this in the future and laugh at how young and naive I was.

  Perhaps…

  Chapter Nine

  Zoey

  “Are you okay?” Nora asks.

I don’t even know how to answer that, to be honest. One moment I’m lost in an otherworldly dance, my body, no, our bodies swaying to a rhythm only we can hear, and the next…

The next moment Kage storms off, leaving me all alone with dozens of eyes on me. I’m embarrassed. I’m humiliated. I’m hurting.

“I’m fine,” I lie, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. “Really. I’m fine.”

“You don’t look fine,” Nora says.

  Geez. Thanks.

  “I don’t want to make a scene.”

  “You’re not,” she says.

I take a deep breath to steady myself. This is exactly the opposite of what I wanted this weekend to be like.

“This is your weekend,” I say. “I don’t want it to be about me, in any way, shape, or form. You know I don’t like being the center of attention.”

My cousin wraps one arm around my shoulder. “Really, you’re not making a scene.”

“Then why is everyone looking at me?”

Nora glares at the other couples in the room, and they quickly turn away from me. She steers me towards the door while talking to me.

“You should head upstairs, use the sauna and relax,” she says. “Trust me, you’ll love it.”

“I want to curl up and cry,” I admit. “Nothing more.”

She shakes her head and tuts. “That’s not the Zoey I know! The Zoey I grew up with is a fighter.”

Yeah, well, the Zoey you grew up with didn’t have the hots for an alien warrior who seems intent on keeping his guard up. It’s like being in love with a freaking wall.
